Good Governance Across Sectors

Good governance transforms cross-sector alignment efforts and plays a key role in advancing equity. How can healthcare, public health, social services, and community members establish clear and appropriate roles, define leadership, make decisions, and agree on policies and procedures?

On October 14, a panel of experts explained how they’ve found success in governing cross-sector relationships with power dynamics, community voice, trust, and other factors at play.

Speakers:

  • Greensboro Housing Coalition: Josie Williams, Executive Director
  • DEI Consultants, LLC: Estrus Tucker, Principal & Co-Founder
  • Public Health Institute: Kevin Barnett, Senior Investigator
  • Georgia Health Policy Center: Karen Minyard, Director and CEO (moderator)

This was the final event in a four-part series focused on how to implement the four core components of aligning—financing, data, shared purpose, and governance.

This virtual event was hosted by Aligning Systems for Health at the Georgia Health Policy Center with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
