A Foundation For Health And Well-Being: Meaningful Employment

View Publication

This publication explores how Employment and Community First Choices (ECF CHOICES), a program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, created and paid for by TennCare, Tennessee’s Medicaid program, helps participants work and live independently.

ECF CHOICES is based on the premise that employment provides a crucial boost to the well-being of people living with IDD by strengthening their ties to the broader community and creating routine social interaction at work.
