Moving from Talk to Action: Advancing Equity with Results Based Accountability

View Webinar

This webinar on February 25 explores strategies to advance health equity with results based accountability.

In July and August, Aligning Systems for Health at the Georgia Health Policy Center, supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, reviewed and synthesized learnings about aligning across sectors from the past year, leading to a new design for the visualization of the Cross-Sector Alignment Framework. This evaluation highlighted the importance of four adaptive factors, including power dynamics, community voices, trust, and equity.

As part of a virtual event series on these adaptive factors, the third event focused on advancing equity when aligning sectors. This event on Thursday, February 25, 2021, featured Deitre Epps, the CEO and founder of RACE for Equity.

Keynote: Moving from Talk to Action: Advancing Equity with Results Based Accountability

Although the word equity is used more and more often these days, equity is more than a buzz word. How do you know equity when you see it? How well are people impacted by the decision-making included in the process? What does data tell you about how people who have been historically marginalized are doing? Is that data transparently shared? Answering these questions builds a common understanding of equity.
